Amid the gentle tones of ambient music, Salut 7 floated in the cosmic silence, becoming a stage for scientific discoveries and tranquil moments. Yet, like a shifting symphony, a malfunction disrupted the station, introducing sounds of uncertainty and drama. As Soyuz T-13 embarked on a repair mission, the melody transformed into a dynamic dance of determination and courage.

Successfully fixing the damages, the astronautical symphony returned to serene notes, symbolizing the restoration of harmony. Unfortunately, the final act concluded with a melancholic ambient, as Salut 7, though full of history and accomplishments, gradually faded away, transforming into cosmic memory.


The Salut 7 mission was part of the Soviet Salut space station program, which operated from 1971 to 2001. Salut 7 was one in a series of space stations used by the USSR for conducting scientific experiments in microgravity conditions.

Launched on April 19, 1982, Salut 7 was inhabited by various cosmonauts during multiple missions. One of the most notable and dramatic missions to Salut 7 was Soyuz T-13 in 1985. Due to a malfunction on the space station, Soyuz T-13 was sent to repair and restore its functions.

The Salut 7 mission provided valuable insights into the long-term stay of humans in space and contributed to the development of space technology. The space station operated until February 7, 1991, when it was destroyed during reentry due to atmospheric control loss.
